You own a client engagement end to end, from scope and technical direction to the relationship with senior stakeholders up to CIO and board level. You position adago as the innovation driver in the room, not an incremental analytics vendor.

Scope of the role
- Full ownership of client relationships, including active new-business acquisition. This is not a farming-only role: you are expected to open doors as well as deepen existing accounts.
- Technical direction and judgment across the engagement. You defend architecture and modelling choices directly with client stakeholders, grounded in real depth in simulation, Bayesian optimization and agentic LLM orchestration, rather than a slide translated from someone else's work.
- Project-level, not disciplinary, direction of the AI Engineers and Forward-Deployed Engineers staffed on your accounts.
- Variable compensation tied to new-business and account performance, on top of base salary.
Your profile
- 5+ years of hands-on delivery in AI and optimization projects, including at least one engagement carried from proof of concept through to full production rollout.
- Outstanding technical judgment, and the credibility to defend it directly to senior stakeholders in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals and chemicals.
- A track record of managing scope, timeline and escalation across multi-stakeholder engagements where IT, planning and operations each want something different.
- A strong grounding in discrete-event simulation, Bayesian optimization and agentic LLM orchestration, enough to make independent technical calls under pressure.
- Fluency in German and English. You move between technical deep dives and board-level conversations in DACH enterprise accounts, in either language and often in one day.
